*Nate feels trapped.

As he drives home from work, the tension builds. He starts to run through a list of things he might be chastised about upon his return. What chore didn’t he do, or did he do wrong, or did he somehow mess up this time? He longs to have a happy relationship and recognizes he’s caught in a negative pattern but can’t see a way out.

Nate knows drinking doesn’t help but is unsure how to cope without it. There must be some way forward.

*Meg feels lost.

As a doctor, she knows how to help others but is hopeless when helping herself. The truth is, she doesn’t know who she is or what she wants from life. And at the end of most days, she’s too exhausted to even think about it. Looking through social media, she sees the smiling faces of her friends and family.

Meg wonders how these people find happiness and worries that she may never find it for herself. If only she had some help.

*Scotty feels alone.

He always knew he was different and struggled to fit in. When Scotty discovered his queerness, he thought he had found the answer. But in some ways, he feels even more alone than ever. Scotty senses there must be a way to become part of something larger than himself.

Scotty remembers George Bailey learning how loved he was in It’s a Wonderful Life and wants to find his own “wonderful life.” But he’s not sure how.

Nate decided there was nothing to lose and embraced the potential for change. He took the risk and called me for help. Soon, Nate started using mindfulness techniques and discovering how to calm himself without alcohol – applying newly learned dialogue skills opened new depths of understanding for himself and his partner.

Through therapy, Nate created the deep connection in his relationship that he’s been missing.

Meg called me for help after a particularly challenging week. She wasn’t sure where she found the energy to pick up the phone but knew that change wouldn’t happen by itself.

Meg began recording her dreams for Jungian dream interpretation. She recovered aspects of herself that she’d long denied achieving her career goals. Through therapy, she was able to use assertive communication skills to set healthier boundaries, giving her the time and energy to explore her life and reconnect with herself.

Scotty reached out. In his first session, he learned about the hard wiring in humans that impact their emotions. With new tools, he discovered how self-acceptance made it easier for him to accept others.

Scotty began to explore interests that had been buried beneath loneliness. As Scotty grew into his passions, he found communities waiting for his contributions and could commit to something bigger than himself.

There is another way.

Hi, I’m George.

And it’s my calling to help people build stronger connections with themselves, their partners, and their community.

No one knows your story the way you do. I offer therapy uniquely tailored to your needs, wants, and preferences.

I walk the talk actively, applying to my own life the tools and techniques I teach in therapy.

Reading and applying books on coaching, self-help, therapy, and spirituality helps me connect deeply with my own life and draw from that well to help others connect deeply with theirs.

With more than 25 years of practice as a life coach and more than ten as a therapist, I offer real-world, tested help.

One of the significant challenges of working with me is the background sound of my 20-lb lapdog, Barney snoring like a 600-lb man, or my Golden Retriever, Ruby, giving a beastly snort as she settles into a deeper sleep. It’s really not that bad, but you will hear them occasionally when we connect on the video platform.

There will be some pleasant surprises for you when you join me in therapy.

Start living the life you deserve.

Reconnect with your loved ones, your community, and most importantly, yourself.
